The work was exhibited on facebook and the colleges youtube as well as in my law class. In order to show to broader audience i could have placed on forums and and other social media sites .

Most of my feedback came from survey. on the large my respondents agreed that the models are basic and nedd more detail , also they agreed that even though the produc was good it needds to be smoother and have more detail.

The main problem that restrained my animation , time as i had to wait for the materials to be collected this caused me to run over tine when building the set and models and therefore it took more time to get the production and therefore this the time to be pushed to later date. However I believe that i would heave a hold of materials prior to the set and model stage i could have have completed the product on the primary deadline.

Did you meet the requirements of the brief’s content? For example, did you conform to the guidance set-up on the E4 ESting competition’s website? The product fit the rules put forward by the E4 Esting competition . Including the sound which is an E4 pre-made music .
The peer response to my animation was fairly good , saing that my animation has hand made charm and a high range used . however there are problems more detail could have been used in the making
of the product and the finished animation was to jumpy

Working on brief was difficult a manner as restricts the creator in deliberating and planing an idea in order to find the best way to approach it. Further more if the brief requires the product to be finished in a short amount of time

I would be a good candidate for the industry as to have creative mind set, however i have to learn to get the material needed for before the pr-production process starts

While i enjoyed making the animation this type of media production is not for me, as the brief do not leave enough space for creativity

documentary

I wanted to make dictionary that would fit under the observational form. This form was chosen as fits well to my topic of immigration . This was was chosen as it is a reflection of me mainly i'm interested in other peoples backgrounds as well difficulties settling in a different country. The camera work was kept still in order to make people concentrate on the main point which are the people talking. The sound and editing cold be improved because even though in faded pictures to mask some video eddied problems the fades will to made smoother and better timed .The sound was mainly edited by using the constant grain effect and moving the in points n the audio in order to keep synchronized.

Tv advert papework

TV Advert and Shot list

Synopsis of idea
- Younger audience (fast cut shots, these highlight power of product)
- Slogan: – Every day is a game, P.G: Power to the game

Main idea:
1. Someone getting up (start of the day)/Entering College (looks tired/fed up perhaps?
2. Gets drink, puts tea bag in/water still tired.
3. After drink, fast cuts happen to show day moving fast (person is affected by drink and is awake and full of life, this helps them complete their day with ease).
4. Exiting the house, puts bag on (is ready for new day)
5. During the fast cuts (during the day) –
- Close up of door being open (start of college day)
- Doing work (close up of pen to paper)
- Hands in work to teacher (Close up of hands with paper, handing it over)
- P.E Lesson (shows someone working out, not getting tired/possible speed up for humour on running machine)
- Work on the computer (typing fast, possible speed up of footage)
- Someone comes up behind him trying to distract the person working (They get slapped in the face, shows that drink keeps you focused).
- Goes home, sits down and turns on TV (means that drink can still be used as calm down, end of the day type thing/Relaxing).
6. End shot, person enjoying drink (relaxing), this is where the slogan and logo appear with additional editing to help as it could be stylised. Box of tea bags next to that person, shows product so people know what to look for.

Shot List

1. Top of head, rest is covered in sheets and the character is asleep.
2. Low shoot of legs hitting floor (denotes someone getting up, possible yawn for example).
3. Kitchen area, puts kettle on, gets mug puts tea bag in with sugar. (Side angle shot, from the side of the kettle for example, this shows person and also props)
4. Close up of water being put into cup
5. Close up of drinking the tea (good sigh, shows it’s refreshing (kind of cheesy)
6. Exiting shot, makes sure that we can see character and also door handle moving
7. Fast cut shots, these zoom in while action is going on, they cut to the next one from the other, these help to show movement being quick, and these also tie together. In addition these shots will be direct on the action (close up shot). These take from the list on the other page.

8. Medium shot, straight angle (straight on to character, shows their action of drinking tea) shows chair and tea and drinking action. This is the last shot so we need some head room for the logo and slogan to appear at the side or at the bottom.

Original rebrand idea

Depic final plan

Two artists, one a jazz poet, the other a beat boxer. They compete against each other until they realize
that their arts would have more value together than a stand alone act. This came from the combination of my colleague Tom's idea of Jazz Poet and my idea about a beat boxer.
depict evalution

The Depict project was longer than the 90 second time limit . This happen manly because we did not know how much the Establishing and Re-Establishing shots will Take . Which that we overrun the requirements for entry to the Depict competition.

Mise-en-scene
The Mise-En -Scene of the bus stop were used to create an ordinary environment that is used to introduce an abnormal situation.
This was achieved via the small bits of dialogue which is Diagetic sound. However the sound sound in this film was edited through multiple tracks as this allowed us to edit the video at a faster pace.
The camera work contains allot of Reestablish shots which have been used to keep playing on the idea of the awkward silences at bus stops.

Sound
This was achieved via the small bits of dialogue which is Diagetic sound. However the sound sound in this film was edited through multiple tracks as this allowed us to edit the video at a faster pace.
The camera work contains allot of Reestablish shots which have been used to keep playing on the idea of the awkward silences at bus stops.
The sound was also not copyrighted as we had created by using my Beatboxing and Toms
Camera
The Over The Shoulder and close ups where used to ssee rcctions this created an relistic eviroment , making the comedic value of the situation easier to repset .
Editing
The edditing uses match on acion cuts to ensure the fluidity of the final product.
Also we had to dub the video as the sound quality was very low as we used an inbuilt camer a mike. .

During this project i have learnt that chossing the footage that you need to use is hard as sometimes some are better than others .
